University Center

As the hearthstone of the institution, the University Center (UC) facilities provide opportunities for activities and events and promotes social interaction amid and among the diverse members of the University and the community. We strive to remain responsive to the best services we can offer and to include the conveniences and amenities the members of the university family need in their daily lives on campus.

Open Areas

The University Center has several open areas for students to study, relax and socialize. Informal areas in the Lobby and on both North and South Mezzanines are furnished with sofas, ottomans, tables and chairs for individual use.

Tables and chairs are also provided on both North and South Patios and Terraces.

The second floor Gallery Lounge (Room 201) offers similar furnishings but in a quieter setting. Docking stations are also provided in the Lounge.

The Dock, a state of the art kiosk, is designed for students to serve as a docking station to charge electronic devices. The Dock Kiosk is located on the north side of the UC lobby.

UC RENOVATIONs

Exciting improvements are happening at the University Center! Starting August 16th, our exterior staircases will be under renovation. We will begin with the Southwest Stair and Northeast Stair. After completion of Phase I, renovations will begin on the Southeast Stair.

Please expect some areas to be temporarily restricted; please follow new pathways as directed by signage.
